The Thursday Stop is the time during my week that all things stop for a few minutes to reflect about my business and life. I use this time as a mental breather, to look back and forward at the direction things are going. Occasionally, I recall questions from customers and clients and share my answers with viewers.
As a small business owner, time is of the essence… all the time. When my time is tied up with time wasting tasks, money is being lost.
I like to use Hard Time and Soft Time.
Hard time is for completing priority tasks. Pretty simple concept, especially when you limit your tasks. If you have too many priorities, it make it nearly impossible to get any true work complete.
Soft Time is the flexible time of my day to get other items completed, such as personal and professional development. This is also the time for creativity, where a rigid schedule would really make it difficult to explore new ideas.
