The Thursday Stop is the time during my week that all things stop for a few minutes to reflect about my business and life. I use this time as a mental breather, to look back and forward at the direction things are going. Occasionally, I recall questions from customers and clients and share my answers with viewers.
- Wave Apps – Bookkeeping, online invoicing, and account management
- Xero – Online accounting and Intuit Quickbooks alternative
In this week’s Thursday Stop, I discuss the topic of eCommerce for small business. eCommerce is a great way to expand your small business sales capacity. However, it is often an excessive and a much large undertaking for a small business, and is often an extreme that is unnecessary. For small businesses that are feeling pressured to do business online, my first recommendation is to look into online or digital payments for products and services.
Using simple online bill pay and invoicing solutions are far simpler to manage than an eCommerce solution. Online bill pay and invoicing also gets your current customers accustom to the idea of purchasing online, which can be transitioned into a eCommerce solution down the road.
How are you handling your business invoicing?
